We are upgrading an old ALM install (12.2) to ALM 16 and need to first upgrade to ALM 12.6 or 15.51 on the way. We were using SQL-Server with WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION for our old back-end database. Hello, As the title states, can we use any other version of JAVA than the prerequisites in the guided for JAVA 8 state? We would like to use the most current version of 11 if we can when we install or next version of ALM this fall. Thanks for the assistance. HomerJ

Hello, We are trying to install ALM 12.60 and we are getting all sorts of strange JAVA errors and responses during the installation. We are using Adopt OpenJDK 1.8 build 292. Is this possibly a source of the issue? We only see JAVA 8 as a prerequisite but no build specific information.

If I try to either re-install or upgrade the JRE on my UFT One machine, I'm getting an error 1603 preventing the JRE installation to complete. This doesn't happen on my machines that don't have UFT One installed. Any idea what's causing this and how to fix?

Hello, I have upgraded my JAVA setup on the ALM 15.5 Server. We restarted the server and the Java doesn't appear to be upgraded and is still reporting the original java and owe are having issue starting the services. Is there something we missed or possibly did wrong? Thanks for any ideas,...
