We are currently using ALM with SSL/HTTPS and have indicated the keystore password down in  the jetty-ssl.xml file using "clear text". Our security people want us to use the "obfuscated" form instead. How do we "obfuscate" our password to use in the ALM Jetty-ssl.xml  file?

We need to setup our 11.52 QC/ALM server to use SSL. It uses JETTY (all 11.x versions of QC/ALM do), and most examples are for JBOSS.

How do I expand the Jetty Heap size in ALM 12.01 for a windows 2008 based server? It does not seem to follow the same setup as Jboss used to with ALM 11.0.

I see a few posts in here about setting the JAVA heap size. an older one is explicitly for JBOSS (older QC versions), but not sure about what to do when it is JETTY (newer QC version 11.5x, and 12.x). Any ideas?

We are experiencing random crashing of the ALM server. I would like to capture the heap information to a log file for viewing. Does anyone know how to set this up?

We were able to finally get HTTPS/SSL working for our load of ALM12.53 (uses Jetty). I guess we did it correctly (mostly) because BOTH HTTPS (secure) and HTTP (non-secure) are working. We want to only have HTTPS enabled, what did we miss?

We just moved from ALM 11.0 to 12.55 (new server) a few weeks ago. We have been syncing defects with JIRA for a month. I noticed I have two defects that are complaining about "Failed to add attachment: BIGMovie.MOV. Error (AR 0000) heap space. We moved from a physical server with 24GB of RAM to ...
