After upgrading from QCv10 to ALMv11.52 the favorites are no longer available in the Test Lab. Any ideas?

I running ALM 12.20 (with no patch) I am trying to configure and run a LeanFT test in Alm. I have uft tests working and executing on remote UFT instances, and I want to do same for LeanFT tests. We have a strange thing happening -- a few of our users are reporting their tests "disappearing" from the view when working in the Tsst Plan. sometimes, they add a test, then watch it appear then immediately disappear from the tree. what is happening?

I'm trying to get LeanFT to work with Eclipse (Mars) and I'm not seeing the LeanFT menu or the project template. I pointed my installer to the eclipse directory that I have on our shared network which is mapped to drive Q. It installs fine and I don't get any errors, so not sure what is wrong.
