We are planning to upgrade our old ALM 12.6 and want to know about users and associated roles/rights for ALM to use SQL-Server? We are still not sure if we want to use SQL-authentication or Windows Authentication.

When we installed SQL-Server, our guy forgot to check the box for "Text Search", can we do get Text Search capability/component into our instance without uninstall/reinstall of SQL-Server?

We are currently on QC/ALM v11, with HPUX server and Oracle database. We see that Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 database are supported/recommended for v12.2. Since we will need to get off of HPUX anyway, we plan to use Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for our new AC/ALM12.20 load. ...

Our Quality Center server uses SQL-Server with SQL-authentication. The SQL-Server DB team is requesting the disabling of the "SA" login. I am not using this, but I wanted to make sure that QC does not use this for any purpose either. I don't believe it does, but better to be safe than sorry ...
