Hi All,

Please have a look on following scenario:

– Can a flex app compiled with QTP automation SWCs be deployed on Linux?
– If so then can it be accessed using browser in Windows platform?
– In this case will QTP with Flex plugin be able to record it?

Please guide/share your experience.

Thanks!

According to the first link I put above, it implies that this will work (see #5). But I haven't done it personally.

There is some information regarding how to include the libraries in compilation when not using flexbuilder here: http://flexqa.lefora.com/2009/04/17/setup-for-qtp-flex-testing-3/

There is also some good information on how to write the wrapper here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flex/using/WS2db454920e96a9e51e63e3d11c0bf69084-7ec5.html

The batch file for compiling the runtimeloading.swf file is Windows only. To compile the SWF file on Mac OS or Linux, you can use the command line compiler or write your own batch file.
