We have setup an ALM 12.20 test env server to well test on before we upgrade our production box. In looking around in customization, under defect system fields, I see a Detected on Environment field. I did not see it in the guide so curious as to what it is for.

I get that the environments are defined using the ALM Web Client, yet don't see any documentation anywhere as to how this happens or how we would define these. Any advise?

Hello,
Detected on Environment is indeed a new field for ALM 12.20.

This field is described as: The environment on which the defect was detected. Environments are a combination of operating systems, browsers, and so on, on which you test the application.

Note: Environments are defined using the ALM Web Client. After they are defined, you can select them when reporting a defect.
