I’m in the process of upgrading my QC9.2 instance to ALM11, but am not sure if my projects’ repositories are already in the file system or still in the database. How can I tell? I don’t understand! Why is HP doing this to me??

Simmer down, MrBeavis. It'll all be ok.

Look at the `PR_REPOSITORY_IN_DB` column of your `PROJECTS` table in your site admin database (normally `qcsiteadmin_db`):

`N` = Project's repository is in the file system.

`Y` = Project's repository is in the database.

Thanks, RickJames! I've gotten a hold of myself and am proceeding with my upgrade.

An easier method is to look at the Project Details tab in the QC Site Administrator.
Highlight the project.

Examine the field `**Repository in DB:** Yes/No

If **Yes**, then Repository is stored in the Database.
If **No**, then Repository is sored in the File System
