I just installed LeanFT and I don’t see an option to do a GUI test. Is my install corrupted?

In LeanFT 14.01, the ability to record test flows in browsers has been added.

I think you might misunderstand the tool. LeanFT is not the same as UFT, so you don't have the normal options to do GUI recording or ServiceTests using the standard IDE like you might be used to.

LeanFT integrates with Visual Studio or Eclipse at the moment, and it installs and integrates the UFT libraries so that you can use them to develop scripts programmatically (like Selenium) and run tests using those tools. They do not produce compatible 'scripts' with each other and are completely separate tools, but LeanFT is a more robust solution for developers and 'power users' who want to use another IDE to develop tests.

I would suggest taking a look at the documentation available for LeanFT before proceeding to make sure you are comfortable with it.
