Take a look at the post here: [http://eyeontesting.com/questions/11687/another-issue-with-runtime-engine-could-not-be-lau.html][1]. Even though the post is about Eclipse, the same concept applies to Visual Studio. If permissions are not right, then you won't be able to launch the runtime engine.

I do not recommend changing the port unless you absolutely have to due to some other application using it.

I tried with the instructions you provided.

Now I am able to Launch Remote Agent, But when I try to enable LeanFT in Visual Studio menu it is throwing error ''LeanFT could not be launched'' popup message

Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot is appreciated

I would start by checking the Runtime Engine logs. You can get information about that here: [https://softwaresupport.hpe.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/KM01802909][1] Do you have a support partner? If so, it might be a good idea to get them involved. If you don't [Orasi][2] is the best HPE Support Partner there is, so you might have your company check into support with [Orasi][3]. Another thing to do is be sure that your permissions are set up correctly on the machine. If they are not, then Visual Studio will not be able to launch the Runtime Engine. Check the install instructions for necessary permissions: [http://leanft-help.saas.hpe.com/en/14.00/HelpCenter/Content/Installation/LeanFTInstallation.htm#hp-minitoc-item-2][1]
