While installing QC/ALM, we see a page in configuration Wizard asking for a user for the "HP ALM Service". Can we leave this blank? Why would I need to specify a user? Which user should we use if we did specify one, myself?

We have some tabular data in some of the memo fields in the defect module. This does not export well when we try to export to excel or run query in the analysis module. Is there a way to get this data exported to excel exactly how it is in the defect ? ALM 12.2

I RDP into the QC 11 server. The DB is separate. I do not see the service listed nor the icon. I do have admin rights on the box. Any ideas?

We are going to be cloning the QC v11 server to VM. The db is separate on Oracle and wont be touched. Is there anything special that needs to be done? We are under the impression that we clone it, turn off the original and bring up the new VM.

Is there a way to feed in the expected response time in the LR during or after the execution; so. it can compare the Expected vs Actual response time and tell me if my transaction is pass or fail. Presently I am doing it in excel which is a tedious process.

We are planning to delete some projects but want to save the Tests and Defects to an "archive" project. Copying Tests and Test Sets is an easy copy and paste operation from Project A to Project B. However, it appears Defects cannot be copied to another project. Is that true? Is the Export op...
