Hi! I have faced with a problem of scheduling automated tests and runing functional AutoTest version HP ALM 12.20 on the remote host testing. For example, I create a new time interval and witch one the test starts, by referring to lab Service, It has’t enough privileges to run it on a testing host. And i don’t get any information about any errors from Logs. The second service was included in the manual. Anyone faced similar problem ?

To work with Lab Service:

1. Disable the UAC (mandatory)
2. Run the Lab Service as an admin.

In order to run the lab service always as admin try as below:

Then go to the Compatability tab and check the checkbox for ''Run this program as Admin''. You may click on change settings for all Users if you want to apply this to all users in that machine.

You need to disable the UAC in order to run the Lab Service. This has been confirmed by HP R&D.
