Sprinter 11.5: 2 issues and future fix information for test record

I just wanted to share this information regarding Sprinter 11.5.

We have seen two issues with Sprinter 11.5 in regards to image capture and saving with the recorded test feature of Sprinter 11.5.

1. When you are recording a manual test in Sprinter 11.5, say you are capturing a different image per step. When you click on the End Run button to finalize the test in Sprinter 11.5, all the captured images will revert to the last saved image. If you captured 10 images to go with 10 steps, soon as you hit End Run and complete the test, all steps will have the 10th image tied to them. HP is aware of this issue and a QCCR link has been established. HP has tentatively stated this fix should be part of the next patch release for Sprinter 11.5, which should be patch 15.

2. When you go to Save a recorded manual step test with captured images to ALM, the test will save in ALM just fine with the recorded text steps, but NO images will make the journey to ALM from Sprinter 11.5. HP is aware of this issue as well. A QCCR link has been established. HP though has said the fix will feature extensive code changes to the ALM connectivity code part of Sprinter 11.5. HP has said that due to this extensive change, its very likely that this fix will not be available until the next full version release of Sprinter (version 12?).
