Hi All,

I understood that for generating reports and troubleshooting in QC we can use SQL queries from backend of the QC 10.0.
Please guide me through any any tutorial websites, cookbook’s or workbook’s which will explain how to write queries for different scenarios on the QC 10.0.
I have downloaded the Database reference guide from the quality center.
But I want to know when to use and how to use these tables and how to query these tables for getting the desired output.
I did Google search, but could not find any helpful tutorials sites.
please help.Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Srihari

Hi N_G,

I have the document.
Say if the test scripts are missing from the Test Set of the QC front end,how can we start debugging using QC back-end(SQL database)?
How can we use this document Quality_Center_DB document for debugging purpose and how to know the particular table satisfies the purpose?
Thanks for your advice.

Regards,
Srihari

Hi Srihari,
The best source is Quality_Center_DB document. If you do not have it, give me your mail, I`ll send it to you. This document will show you the structure of QC DB and details about each table.
QC uses the language of MS SQL foe queries. But be aware that it has many restriction and some of the queries may not work.
