Yes, Quality Center version control works on attachments. Say for instance you have a test that has an attachment. Before you modify the attachment or add a new one or take one away, Quality Center will force you to check out the test entity that the attachment is associated with. Thus, the test gets a new version each time an attachment to the test is modified, added or deleted.
