If my Terminal Emulator setup works correctly, why can I still not record anything with the TE Addin?

I have tried for days having read the documentation, asking an expert on QTP and just trying everything I can to make the Quick Test recorder record ANYTHING against my IBM PCCom Client Access Terminal Emulator. I have configured, reconfigured and am getting nowhere.
I’ve verified the Add-In is installed, and while going through the wizard I DO get the HLLAPI screen showing correct emulation of my screen. However, the recorder doesn’t get me anywhere. I can use the Object Spy to get the field Id, etc, of TeFields, so there is a "hackish" way around, but the configuration I use is not even the IBM one, I have to use the default Attachmate (WRQ)!!

I noticed that my IBM TE is version 6.0 for Windows and the last "supported" version of this in QTP is 5.9. I guess that’s the price we pay for having a newer version? Surely there is something I can try to make this work short of begging Operations for a lower version of the Client Access?? Please, any help would be appreciated.

UFT 11.51 now supports IBM PCOM version 6. Looks like you'll have to upgrade to UFT 11.51, as older versions of QTP do not support it.

I checked that out and Michaeldx is right. You'll have to upgrade to UFT 11.51.

Thanks for the update guys, I guess I will attempt to either continue hacking around what I need (which is currently working for me) or see if my company wants to upgrade.
Appreciate the help very much.
