Large iteration UFT test won’t upload run results to ALM

When we have a large automated test script run out of ALM to UFT 12.02, a test with large iteration count and a very large run results output, ALM 11.52 fails the test. When looking at the log, all steps pass. And when running the test locally with UFT, it passes and generates report. It would seem that ALM is having issue with the size of the results and at time of writing, it just fails the test and does not attach a run report (rrv). Is there a fuse or setting for this?

Hello, It seems HP is aware and has a fix for ALM storage issues from UFT data output. This fix will be part of UFT 12.02 patch 03. The patch is not yet out though, with no current ETA, but I did hear that testing is being done now and the patch should be finalized soon. The fix will involve an altered DLL file to help with ALM storage and handling of automated test data out of UFT 12.02. Marked as spam
