Record Script in IE – ”Run as different User”

We are currently using HP Performance Center version 12.20 with Windows 7 64-bit OS. I would like to record a VuGen script
for an app that must be accessed by Right-Clicking Internet Explorer from the start menu (while holding down SHIFT key),
and clicking the option "Run as different User".

Since VuGen opens the browser automatically when I begin recording, I do not have the opportunity to select "Run as different User" for IE.
Is there a way to record a Vugen script against IE using "Run as different User" ?

Try setting the user from within the script using the web_set_user.
For more information about web_set_user steps, see the Online Function Reference (Vugen-- Help > Function Reference).

In addition, there may be another alternative which is posted below:

1. Open command prompt using ''Start -> Run -> ''cmd'' (enter).

2. Go to the folder which has your VUGen exe. Usually it is placed in the location ''C:Program FilesHPLoadRunnerbin''.

3. Type the command ''runas.exe /user:blogUser1 vugen.exe'' to launch the VUGen.exe as the User1. Once prompted for password. Enter the password for User1.

Note: This is just an example and would require your user information.

4. Set any Record options and then start Recording or script in IE
