How to stop Select Columns menu option from showing workflow hidden fields?

Under ALM 12.53, we use workflow to hide some fields based on criteria and user groups. While that works fine in the Details pages, we have seen that if you are in tree or grid view, via the Select Columns menu button, you can add back those hidden fields. Is there a way to disable this so that those column fields are not options?

Hello, There is a site parameter you can add under Site Configuration that will allow column visibility changes made via workflow to thusly apply for tree and grid views. The Select Columns button will still work, but it will then be lacking any workflow hidden values that pertain to the module or user group. Add to your environment the following: ENABLE_COLUMN_VISIBILITY_TRACKING = 'Y' Marked as spam
