Site Admin Database Administrator Password Question

Hello. In Site Administration on the DB Servers tab, there is a field called “DB Administrator Password.” Currently, this field is limited to 20 characters. My company is wanting us to increase this password from 20 characters, to 30 characters. Is there a way to increase the length of this field? I haven’t seen anything in the ALM Site Parameters list. Does this field allow more characters in the later versions of ALM? Thanks!

Hello. Unfortunately, at this time, the character limit for the 'Database Administrator Password' field on the 'DB Servers' tab in Site Administration can't be increased to more than 20 characters. This goes for all of the recent versions or ALM. Micro Focus has a change request for this, and they are currently investigating it, to determine which release the change will be implemented in.
