Attempting to upgrade ALM to version15.5.1 but having issues with the dB schema verification/connect

Hello, We are upgrading to ALM version 15.5.1 from ALM 12,53 and getting errors. We are getting the following error: “Failed to validate existing schema. User “dbo” does not own all user tables in schema.” during the process.
Where should we look? HomerJ

Hello HomerJ, I have seen this before in the past when one of two things happened to cause the error. Situation 1 was when the end users had added extra tables and columns to the DB schemas outside of the gui and had the ownership different than the actual owner (ie the system tables were all dbo owned and the added were owened by td and I have seen the reverse as well).
Situation 2 I have seen where the enduser was upgrading and thought that they were using one authentication method (either winauth or sql auth) and the actual usage was the opposite authentication method.
Check that all the tables within the schemas are either prefaced with dbo or td and make sure that they all match. Your dba may have to run a changeowner query to set them corectly if needed.
