We are looking to install QC 10.00 patch 22 on Windows 2008 R2. We also need to move the HP ALM Synchronizer Server from Windows 2003 R2. Is HP ALM Synchronizer 1.40 compatible with Windows 2008 R2? And is Synchronizer 1.40 the correct version for QC 10.00 patch 22?

The other day, our Systems team upgraded our QC 11 server to 11.52 and at the same time enabled SSL/HTTPS for QC. Now, our links all fail on the QC (Endpoint1 side) in QC-Synchronizer saying the "Server is not available". I changed the URL to include HTTPS instead of HTTP, what else should w...

We have had lots of turnover lately and don't have any notes on where the QC-synchronizer is or how to stop the links from synchronizing. We need to turn things off for a few months (to catch our breath) and pick it up again later. 1) how do we find our QC-synchronizer server? (we do have a short li...

We are trying to use QC/ALM synchronizer to connect to a QC in Germany. It's a slow connection and the synchronizer is timing out before it can fully connect. Steps taken: --create new link --enter QC username/pswd, QC URL, and select the project. --Click Next and the synchronizer will time out.

When I try to do a value-map of the list items for my field, the list of values is not complete - only lists 30 or so of them and I have 100 list items. What is happenin...

I was updating a field "value-mapping" mapping on a working LINK, then, on the Filters tab, I clicked "Refresh Filter Lists" (because I wanted a newer filter - we added many since the link was created), selected a new filter I had just added, and clicked Save. It said "Saving Lin...

What is the proper way to backup synchronizer links? We are moving our synchronizer server to another machine for a qc upgrade and are moving the links one by one as the projects are converted to QC 11.52, what is the proper way to move the links over.
