ALM 12.55 Customization – Change Tab Order

Is there a way to change the Tab order in the details screen to move from field to field for the various modules? Currently when in a details page such as Test Plan pressing the tab key moves right, I want a command to move down instead of across and I have not found a way to do this.

Hello jlesiak, You can change the way the details page displays the order of the entity items on the that page but unfortunately there is no keystroke sequence to allow the downward movement. What the tab keystroke does is jump from the current entity to the next successive entity specified in the list. the reason it goes right next is that the entity to the right is the next successive in the screen layout. The system by default has 2 columns and it lays out the entities in a row, column ordering system so it goes from 1,1 to 1,2 then proceeds to the next row and column order 2,1 to 2,2 and then 3,1 to 3,2 and so on. There is no keystroke sequence that allows for the direct downward column navigation only movement as the system is designed currently Dan Marked as spam
