ALM service not starting properly, errors in wrapper log

Our ALM server is not starting properly, we are seeing this error message in the wrapper log for ALM:

INFO | jvm 1 | 2020/08/26 09:37:08.362 | Failed to obtain a connection to schema ‘default_lab_project_db’. com.hp.alm.platform.db.CTdDbException: Can’t create a new database connection.;

I would check and make sure that the password has not expired on your lab project database schema, it looks like the lab project schema cannot be accessed for whatever reason.
