ALM v15 not loading for existing user when using our DNS alias for ALM

We recently upgraded from ALM 12 to ALM v15. We use a DNS alias to access ALM via IE 11 browser. We changed the DNS alias to point to ALM v15; it was pointing to ALM v12. After the DNS change, anyone who used the DNS alias and had previously used ALM v12 is now receiving an error message “You are using an unsupported browser. ALM Desktop Client supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11.”. This error message does not make sense because we are using IE 11.0 We ran the ALM clean up script, but still continued to receive the error. Anyone who is going to ALM v15 for the first time and never used ALM v12 on their machine, is able to load the login screen. We need help figuring out what we need our existing users who used ALM v12 to do, so they can access ALM v15 using the same url they have always used. Or do we need to create a new DNS alias for v15? Please help.

GoDawgs,

Please check your Internet Explorer options and make sure that Enterprise Mode is turned off. This should fix your problem.
