Any word on the next version of ALM (possibly ALM13) and when it will be released?

HI,
We are contemplating an upgrade and would like to be on the latest as we don’ upgrade often. We see the current version is ALM12.53 and were wondering if this would be the best version to upgrade to or if ALM13 is rumored to be released soon?

Do you have any information regarding this?

Hi HomerJ,
Unfortunately we don't have access to information on the roadmap of future releases. HP guards that very closely and only releases information when the product is released or updated. If you are contemplating upgrading at this time, I would recommend ALM12.53 with the latest patch. You can install using the latest patch version (as all patches are currently a full installer since the release of version 12.2x and later).

As to ALM13, I think that the plans are currently to skip 13 and go directly to ALM14, as I have seen documented in error reports about issues being resolved in ALM14 and have never seen mention of ALM13, so I believe that they may be skipping that version number entirely,

Thanks that is very helpful. I wondered how they were going to handle the version number 13 and that makes sense.
