Applications Exposed over Citrix in UFT

We are looking for details on ability to automated using UFT, applications that are exposed over Citrix. Any limitations etc. Is it possible to automate an application that resides remotely and is accessed over Citrix but with UFT running in the local workstation? Or is it that the only way it would be possible to automate is to get UFT installed in the same remote workstation where the application resides. Please advise.

Unfortunately, this cannot be done. UFT absolutely has to be on the same side as the application. If not, UFT sees Citrix as one big frame (window) and can't access anything. Marked as spam
