Automail Selected Fields and To Condition – ALM11

I need a little suggestion on how to filter conditions or a different way to do do what I want in ALM 11.
I have Automail with Selected Defect Fields Assigned To and Detected in Cycle.

– With only Assigned To at first I had the To at the bottom of the screen set to User "Assigned To" as selected user and Condition filter as "Assigned To = Viewer" so all user would get an email when a defect was assigned to them (the assigned to field was changed to them)
– I then added the Selected Field Detected in Cycle where I selected a specific user and set a Condition filter to "Detected in Cycle ABC….." (where that matched the cycle).
>> This works fine in that when the cycle is changes to ABC the selected user gets an email.
>>> Issue is that the Assigned To person also gets an email which I do not want. I do I set this up so only the user with the Condition Detected in Cycle gets an email?
I understand why they are both getting the email – The select field Detected in Cycle has change so the "To" is sending to both the single user noted above and the Assigned To user since the filter is set to Viewer group.

Hello hjessee,

Please try the following.

1. Select the users who should receive the email by clicking the checkbox next to each user name in the To area in the lower half of the window. Tip: To see only the relevant selected users, select the Show Only Selected Users checkbox.
2. Click the Filter button to define a filter under which the selected user receives mail. If you define multiple filters, the selected user only receives mail if all of the conditions are met. For more information on filtering, refer to the HP Application Lifecycle Management User Guide.
3. Click Save to save your changes.

Right I get that...I can define a filter for each individual user.
However setting that up for dozens or hundreds of users and maintaining that would not be what I was looking for.
Using the To as ''Assigned To'' and not the individual users addresses sending of an email when the Assigned To field changes -> send it to the Assigned To individual but it is also send the mail when other mail fields change, which I don't want.
I was hoping I was missing some kind of filtering, etc.
