Blank attachements in QC?

Everything was fine for a long time with our attachments to defects and tests (screenshots, Excel files, etc.), until recently when they started coming up BLANK. we have not patched recently or made any server changes, what is happening?

Soapy, Check your free disk space on your drive containing your project's repository folder it is probably low on free space and cannot hold any more attachment files. Marked as spam
