Can we reuse the same license key used in HP ALM 11.52 while upgrading to ALM 12.53? When we try to use the same license key, it shows license expired alert, however the licence is working in ALM 11.52 with unlimited validity.

Any help in this would be highly appreciated

Hello Vdinuu,
As a rule, all license keys are valid from 11.52 on with the latest products, however since you hav a special key with no expiration then you should probably open a case with your Microfocus support team for acquiring a new license key as lately we are seeing issues applying the non-expiring keys to upgraded products. A new key should be generated for you without issue as it is part of the support contract inclusion. If you are no longer under a support contract then that may be why the key is being marked as invalid. Your Microfocus support team should be able to assist with your issue.

Thanks Dan.. The license file contained one expired key which resulted in the error. As you said, the license keys are valid from 11.52.
