Can’t get QTP 10 to install

Getting an error message "The File ‘Agent.exe.6ed28668-7b….’ is not marked for installation." when attempting to install qtp10. Thhis machine had qtp10 already installed, but the tester started getting some errors when attempting to startup. I removed qtp10 & attempted to re-install it when I started getting the above message. Doing a clean uninstall of QTP did not solve the problem. I can not figure how to get around this error.

Did you turn off anti virus when trying to install? Antivirus sometimes can block installing of QTP because of the nature of the tool.

Are you using Flexera Software? There is a KB article on their site that talks about this specific error that might help:
