Yes, there are a few configurations you can do to improve performance when working with ALM and UFT or BPT, using the ALM project customization options and site parameters. Some examples of this are being able to upload UFT test results as single zip files (to help with test results management in ALM), handle step parameter values, and handle Reporter.reportEvent events.
