No, you do not have to get new license. If you are paying for support on you existing license you are entitled to download and use UFT 11.5. UFT 11.5x is a merger of 2 products: QuickTest Professional (QTP) and Service Test (ST). The license type determines access to some features of UFT 11.5x . If you have a QTP (FT) license, access will be limited to UFT GUI functional testing features and not the UFT API testing features. If you have a UFT license then you will have access to both UFT GUI and API testing. NOTE: If you have a concurrent license server, you will have to upgrade the license server software (to version 8.4.0) but not upgrade the license key.
