LoadRunner 9.5x does not support IE 8. The fact it is, it may work in some cases, but it still is not supported by HP. LoadRunner's next version, version 11, will have support for IE8. It is rumored to be set for possible release in late 2010. UPDATE: 10/28/2010 there is now a patch for LR 9.52 that supports recording on IE8. try turning off ''Tabs'' feature in ie8/ie7

open ie8/ie7
select Tools > Internet Options > 3/4 down the window to the Tabs Setting button
clear the check box from the ''Enable Tabbed Brownsing (Requires restarting Interenet Explorer)
Press OK
close ie8/ie7

For Oracle, LR has a compatability issue with the JVM.dll in the old JInitiator. Try replacing the JVM.dll in the ''Jinitiator 1.3.1.xx/hotspot'' directory with the JVM.dll file from the ''JREbinclient'' directory? (where JRE is the Sun java directory for a JRE install of version 1.5 or 1.6) no registration is necesarry.

LR9.5.2 with Oracle APps 11i is also facing same problem with IE6.Can anybody give a hand on this to resolve Thanks MV

Even I am having the exact same error, but I am using IE7 which I believe is supported by LR 9.50. Also I am recording using ORACLE NCA protocol for oracle forms.
