We have a user who installed the HP Excel add-in for QC10, patch level 30. Upon opening Excel after installing the add-in, an error instantly pops up and excel can only be closed at that point. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the add-in, with same error message as a result when Excel is opened.

Error message: Microsoft Forms – Could not load some objects because they are not available on this machine.

This is an Excel problem which can be solved by doing a repair of your MS Office installation.

Close Excel if it is open and any other Office programs.

In the Control Panel choose ''Add or Remove Programs'' (or Programs and Features in Windows Vista).
Select Microsoft Office in the list and click on the Change button.
Choose ''Repair''. This should hopefully correct the problem.

The idea here is that it will re-register a certain OCX file which can be the cause of the error.
