Using the Excel addin you can upload design test (tests to Test Plan). When dealing with tests in Test Lab you are working with a test instance (basically a seperate copy of the test that is in Test Plan). You could use the ALM OTA to create a connection to ALM and then write the nessesary code to update the test instance information in the test sets. But there is no way that is built into ALM to update test instances from Excel. Marked as spam
