for some reason the td user did not get created in my prod install

Very odd, I felt I did a new install the same way as I always have but the td account does not exist in SQL and the installation works fine, just no td account is found and worry about the difference having an issue down the road. Can I just add it? My SQL engine uses the sa account for actions (just like it is in my other instances) Thoughts? td user has what rights typically?

if QC is working as normal AND you are certain you specified ''SQL-Server Authentication'' during install, it MUST be using the SQL-Server user called ''td''. Perhaps your user that you use to get into SQL-Server Management Studio is limited, are you using ''sa'' or similar account? Another thing you can try is to login to SQL-Server Management Studio (or a new ODBC DSN) as ''td'' with your td password or the default (''tdtdtd'') and see if you can login. If so, the user exists.
