Getting ”ERROR – run as executed command timed out” error during ALM Server install

We are using a Service account (as suggested) to install ALM on a new Win2016 server. We have checked the various Windows permissions per the prerequisites. what else to check?

Yes, this an odd one. Even though the install guide specifically mentions various illegal characters for the UserID, see if your auto-generated PASSWORD contains any of them -- # for instance. It should be possible to limit the password generator so it cannot use these characters. Try again with a ''valid'' password (with no illegal characters). Marked as spam
