Getting error when refreshing business components tab.

In ALM when I refresh the Business Components tab I get the following error:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at Mercury.TD.Client.UI.Components.Command.ExecuteEventHandler(Object sender, EventArgs eventArgs)
at Mercury.TD.Client.UI.Components.ThirdParty.Toolbars.CommandButtonTool.ToolClickHandler(Object sender, ToolClickEventArgs e)

In the past I have seen a project repair and a repository realignment fix errors like this, try the following:

1. Make sure there is a backup of the repository and the database of the project. (The db files are backed up nightly. Manually make a copy of the repository project folder as the backup.)
2. Deactivate the project.
3. Run Maintain Project - Recovery Tool - Realign Repository.
4. Run Verify Project.
5. Run Repair Project.
6. Rerun Verify Project.
7. Activate the project.
8. Log in to the project, go to the Business Components tab and click Refresh.
9. If the problem is resolved, delete the repository backup folder from the server.
