Getting ”Port 8080 is being used by another process.” error when re-running Configuration Wizard

Configuration Wizard will not move past the "Application Server" step. It gave an error "Port 8080 is being used by another process. Change the port number, or release the port and click "Next" to try again". I am assuming this is because the ALM service is still running.
Is this correct?
What else can we do?

Yes, you get that error when the QC/ALM service is still running OR something else is using that port when running Configuration Wizard.

You have 2 options:

1) Stop the service (8080 in your case) and continue Config Wizard

2) Specify a DIFFERENT port (80 for suppressed port in QC URL for instance) or something totally different from 8080 and NOT in use, like 8090.
