Hi, I am unable to access ALM – QC version 11 from IE 10 in Windows 8. I am receiving this error message – ‘Main Application process failed to Start. Contact your system administrator’. Could anyone suggest any solution ?

From the ''add-in'' link on the ALM start page, download and install the ''HP ALM Explorer''. or downgrade to IE9.

ALM 11.xx doesn't support IE10

Also, no version of ALM yet supports Windows 8.

Try to enable IE10's Compatibility View for Intranet (sites on your same subnet), it will work basically the same as IE9 load for windows 7.

Hi All,

I am able to access ALM in Windows 8 with IE 10 . All you have to do is goto to settings > F12 developer tools > Cache . Then delete cache and if needed disable cache for the first time you login. It works for me :)
