How can I use the ENVIRONMENTS table in the project database

The CYCLE.CY_ENVIRONMENT field is currently empty in ALM. Our team would like to begin utilizing this field within the Test Sets in the Test Lab module. Looking at the Project Entities I can see the field is associated with the system field ‘Default Environment’. According to the info in this link (http://alm-help.saas.hpe.com/ja/12.53/api_refs/project_db/topic207.html) the CY_ENVIRONMENT is the ID from the ENVIRONMENTS table. How/where is the ENVIRONMENTS table populated?

Then ENVIRONMENTS table was a table that was used by the environments feature of the QC/ALM webclient that was removed in version 12.50. I would not recommend using this table. If you still want to use it you will need to do the following. 1. Add the site parameter WEBUI_TEST_MANAGEMENT with a value of Y There is no way to access this table from within the desktop client so once you move to QC/ALM 12.5x or above you will not be able to create additional environments.
