We received a new license, but it needs to replace what we already have instead of adding what’s already there. How do I remove a LoadRunner v11.5x+ license from my controller?

1. Make sure LoadRunner (and the LoadRunner License Utility) is closed. 2. Navigate to `C:ProgramDataHPLoadRunnerdata` where you will see a **LRKey.txt** file. 3. Make a **BACKUP** of **LRKey.txt**. 4. Edit **LRKey.txt** and remove everything *except* the free/community edition license key strings (e.g., Community, Mobile UI, Network Virtualization Community, JMeter Community, etc.). 5. Save the **LRKey.txt** file. 6. Start the **LoadRunner License Utility**. 7. Make sure your free/community edition bundles are still present (e.g., Community, Mobile UI, Network Virtualization Community, JMeter Community, etc.). 8. Load your new licenses using the utility.
