Could you tell me How does the license manager know whether is qtp or uft making the request for a license???

When the client has a list of possible license it can use it will provide you the option of what type of license you want. For example QTP 11 will have a check box in the addins screen where you select addins to load. http://screencast.com/t/rjZCBlxGoU Marked as spam
