By default the collate timeout is 5 minutes, if the raw result is huge and collation can't be finished in 5 minutes, it will show collate timeout error.
To increase collate timeout, login PC project, on the ALM masthead, click the gear icon, select Performance Center Controller Options, select collate settings from left side, then change collate timeout value from 5 mins to a large value, say 30.
BTW, when collation failure occurs, manually collated files might cause analysis error. The reason is, when collator abort the process, the gzl compression is also aborted. So the gzl files are incomplete. Remove the gzl can make analysis pass.
