HP ALM is causing Windows 10 Laptop to restart

While working on HP ALM, I encounter my Windows 10 (New Laptop) is causing the issue to Restart the system (Screenshot: Restart) all of a sudden, I neither see this issue while working on any other application nor I get this issue in my old Windows 7 laptop.
I see sometimes the HP ALM application layout is messing up on Windows 10 (Internet Explorer 11.0.15063.0) (Screenshot: Layout)
The only recent changes I made was I upgraded the HP UFT to 14.01.

Go Dawgs,

There are actually 2 problems here:
1. The crash is caused by running a BPT test on this Windows 10 laptop.
2. The display issue is caused by the DPI setting in IE being 150% in IE.

These can both be solved by using the ALM Explorer, so
Use the ALM Explorer (stand-alone QC client), which is available from Tools/More Add-ins.
The ALM Explorer can handle the 150 percent DPI setting without any text clipping issues and the crash you were experiencing does not happen when you run your BPT test in ALM Explorer instead of IE.
