HP-synchronizer Service doesn’t start (automatic) on server start up

Hello,

We have installed HP sync 12.53 on a new server.
The service doesn’t start on server start up.
It WILL eventually start, but we need to start it manually.

The Service Startup type is defined as automatic.

Any idea ?

Make sure this a Sync-server is NOT also installed on QC-Server -- that is not allowed.

Is the Potgres service starting OK automatically?

It may be a delay... Postgres DB (used by Synchronizer) might be starting up slowly and the HP-Sync service is starting before Postgres is fully ready.

see if you can either put dependency on Postgres or DELAY the HP-Sync service to wait for Postgres to start (standard Windows service stuff).

You were right! It was due to postgres service startup.
