There are several posts on this site about doing command line repairs of UFT. Is there one for UFT 12.53?

You can repair UFT 12.53 or LeanFT with the below steps:

**Windows 7**

Press the 'Start' button

Find command prompt and right click on it.

Select ''Run as Administrator''. A Dos Prompt will appear.

Copy the following command to the dos prompt and press enter.

UFT 12.53:

MsiExec.exe /fm {F6D39C4A-E368-461C-B9DE-31C0C7546CCC}

Lean FT:

MsiExec.exe /fm {C54D602C-8D84-438E-BADE-58EA8C8B73A3}

**Windows 8/8.1**

From the Charms screen, start typing the word 'Command'. A list of matching programs will appear.

Right click 'Command Prompt'.

Select Run As Administrator. A Dos Prompt will appear.

Copy the following command to the dos prompt and press enter.

UFT 12.53:

MsiExec.exe /fm {F6D39C4A-E368-461C-B9DE-31C0C7546CCC}

Lean FT:

MsiExec.exe /fm {C54D602C-8D84-438E-BADE-58EA8C8B73A3}

**Windows 10**

Press the 'Start' button

Start typing ''Command'' and the Command Prompt should appear on the list. Right click on it.

Select ''Run as Administrator''. A Dos Prompt will appear.

Copy the following command to the dos prompt and press enter.
