Try Insight Recording (note: make sure UFT and AUT are both on the same monitor, as Insight cannot work properly across multiple monitors). This can help greatly when wrestling with the OS-level controls (like pop-up keyboards) while your app is open. For instance, you can use Insight Recording to capture your keyboard Space bar as an Insight object and use it to tap after entering any text in your AUT fields in order to enable buttons that require tapping elsewhere from the field to enable objects/buttons that rely on that type of action (almost akin to hitting ''Tab'' on a PC keyboard).
