This is a **normal and correct** message for PC hosts which are configured with the as a Load Generators, only.

The message ''**Check connectivity between the Controller and load generators - No check done - this host is not set as Controller purpose**'' means that the PC Host, machines, is not configured to be used as a **PC host (Controller)**. Since it is configure as a LG only the Controller to LGs connectivity check was not necessary and was not done.

If you want **Performance Center Administration (PCA)** > **System Health check** to perform this check of the connectivity between **the Controller** **TO** **load generators**. Then all of your LG machines must first be configured as controllers within PC

The ''**Check connectivity between the Controller and Load generators**'' is a test to verify that the Controller can connect to all LGs. This test will be performed, only the when the ''Purpose'' of the PC host is configure within PC as one of the following:

- Controller
OR
- Controller & Data Processor
OR
- Controller & Load Generator
OR
- Controller & Data Processor & Load Generator

**NOTE**
For **PC hosts the ''Purpose''** can be configured as:

- Controller
- Data Processor
- Load Generator
- Controller & Data Processor
- Controller & Load Generator
- Data Processor & Load Generator
- Controller & Data Processor & Load Generator
