One of our users is accessing a machine remotely and then trying to run ALM QC. User is getting this error: Initialization has failed. Contact your system administrator after the error it says that it failed to
download the setup_a.cab file. Nothing to their knowledge was changed. They did the full uninstall using the ALM cleanup tool, and re-installed ALM, but they have the Same error. Other users on this same box are able to use ALM with no issues. A co-worker even used her machine and connected to the remote machine, but with his login ID and ALM works. With that I thought maybe her profile needed to be wiped out. We also had her user ID removed and re-added to no avail.

First have her try restarting the machine. I have seen that error before and many times restarting the machine will rectify. After she restarts the machine have her clear out all the temporary internet files in IE
then try to login to ALM again.

If that does not work delete her ALM folder iunder her local profile delete this foder and all its contents: ''C:UsersHerUserNameAppDataLocalHPALM-Client'' then restart the machine and try to login again.
